When it comes to investing in UK student property, location is of paramount importance for both investors and residents alike, not only the City itself, but the exact location within. 

In the 2018/2019 Student Accommodation Survey conducted by UCAS & Knight Frank, Liverpool has claimed fourth position – with respect to the wider UK – and has an incredible 84% of students happy with their accommodation. 

Furthermore the leading factor of influence for student accommodation satisfaction was location (79%) whilst cost came in at only 39%. 

The research highlights a similar pattern is seen amongst International Students with 97% of international students rating ‘quality of accommodation’ of utmost importance. 

When it comes to securing accommodation for the next academic year, 57% of students have done so by March. 

With three of our student sites in Liverpool at the end of their rental assurance, we are certainly seeing similar trends present. 

Our three city center sites (X1 Arndale House, X1 Borden Court & X1 The Edge) are already sitting above a combined 40% occupancy for September 2019.  Having only been launched to the upcoming rentals market a matter of weeks ago, this is thanks to a combination of new bookings and re-bookings. 

Ensuring our resident satisfaction remains high across all sites – along with ensuring value for money and great locations, is only one of the reasons for which we can attribute our leading occupancy rates.
